Meet Latonta Godboldt

Latonta Godboldt is a wife, mother of three, and actively engaged community member. She is also a volunteer Girl Scout leader and enjoys camping, hiking, reading and gardening. Growing up, she loved school and she wanted to be a teacher by the age of 8. Her third-grade teacher opened the door for her to embrace learning and inspired her to become an educator.

Latonta Godboldt is the owner and operator of Small Wonders FCCH, a STAR 4 PHLpreK program. Small Wonders FCCH is located in Philadelphia, PA and serves children from ages 2 through 12 years old. Small Wonders FCCH was established in 2008 after Latonta conducted a market survey and saw the need for non-traditional care.

Godboldt has over 16 years of experience in early childhood education. She truly enjoys working with children. It brings her such delight to see their faces light up with excitement after conquering a challenging task.

Latonta began her educational study at the Community College Of Philadelphia where she graduated with an A.A. in Elementary Education. Latonta earned her B.S. from Temple University and is scheduled to graduate from Eastern University in the Spring of 2020. She also holds a Director Credential and is licensed as a PQAS trainer, a Certified Lead Renovation Specialist and Red Cross First Aid Responder instructor.
