Laverne Cheeseboro is a South Philadelphia native. She is a devoted wife and mother of two who is very passionate about developing the minds of future achievers. She has always had a passion for advocating and teaching youth. She continues to strengthen herself through personal and professional development and continued education in the field of Early Childhood Education.

In 2009, she was inspired to bring her vision of opening her own child care program to life. Heavenly Made Creations is a Family Child Care program located in Southwest Philadelphia that serves children ranging in age from 3-months to five-years-old. Its mission is to provide children with a small, intimate, and safe environment in which to thrive.

 

Laverne’s background, training, and professional development give her the foundation to fulfill her vision, mission and goals. She has more than 15 years of experience with children, ten years of family childcare experience, a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and a certificate of completion in Community College of Philadelphia Power Up Entrepreneur and Childcare Business program.
